Initially, they were my competition/racing shoes. But I got a true-to-size pair, and Adidas have an especially narrow toe box. And in racing shoes specifically, with a top material that doesn’t give at all, it’s especially problematic. So my feet hurt like hell after the race and after hard, long workouts. It’s a real shame, because otherwise they’re perfect and beautiful and really fun to run in. I tried to love them despite the narrowness, but my toenails weren’t having it.
Just look at this abomination of how they don’t match each other and the consequences of this
I retired them after my race in Paphos. But maybe I can use them for some shorter workouts or races (5–10k?) — after trimming my toenails down to nothing first, of course.
